Norcross Resident Premieres Short Film

The world premiere of the short film Perceptions at GET CONNECTED.

What could a homeless man possibly teach an uptight young woman who thinks she knows it all? It all depends upon your Perceptions.

Written by Natasha Niemi and directed by Filmmaker Bobby Peoples and Renee Warren-Peoples, Perceptions tells the story of Dr. Jim Kline and Alicia. As a caring psychiatrist, Jim is looking for the kind of nurse who can look beyond outward appearances to see what really matters. Alicia is beautiful and intelligent, but she has a way of letting her assumptions cloud her vision. Will an encounter between these two individuals change one of their lives for the better?

Join the cast and crew of Perceptions at GET CONNECTED on January 30, 2014 for the premiere screening. GET CONNECTED is one of the South's largest entertainment mixers, attracting talent all over Georgia and beyond in the state of the art Porter Sanford Center.

Admission to the event is $10, which covers all the film screenings, light meals, and networking. Since this is a cash event and there is no ATM on site, be sure and bring cash with you.
