Wilson Pickett: 25 at the Top exhibit will open on Friday, February 8 at 6 p.m. The opening and the following two Fridays, February 15 and 22, will feature the Rhythm and Blues styling of singer, Jerome Olds, a well-known Atlanta singer/ songwriter/ producer. Mr. Olds has performed with Paul Shaffer, and Will Lee from the David Lettermen Show and with The Four Tops, The Temptations, Tina Turner in Atlanta at the Chastain Park Amphitheater. Jerome was a featured Artist on the first three Jazz Flavor CDs in Atlanta.
This exhibit pays tribute to one of our greatest rhythm and blues legends – Wilson “Wickett” Pickett. 25 At the Top: The Exhibit is a pictorial overview which includes original programs, clothing, posters, scores, photos, recordings, awards, video footage and gold records.
The exhibit will be displayed at the Norcross Arts Center, located at 17 College Street on Thursdays from 1 – 5 p.m. throughout Black History month.
