Home for the Holidays Super Pet Adoption

Atlanta Animals Alive will host the first annual Home for the Holidays Super Pet Adoption on Saturday, December 22nd from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the North Atlanta Trade Center, located at 1700 Jeurgens Court in Norcross.  The free event will feature over 200 adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens from local rescue groups and shelters and promises to be Atlanta's largest pet adoption opportunity of the holiday season.

In addition to adoptable pets, the event will feature pet-related vendors, an ask-the-trainer Q&A session, pet photos with Santa Paws, low-cost pet microchipping and rabies vaccines provided by Pet Fixer mobile vet, face painting and more.  Each dog adopted at the event will receive a certificate for a free self-service grooming session or $10 off of full-service grooming from sponsor Kirkwood and Smyrna Bark & Lounge.  Atlanta Animals Alive will also collect donations of pet toys, treats, towels, and blankets for shelter animals.

Each rescue group will set its own adoption policies and prices, but every animal at the event will be spayed or neutered and current on its vaccines before going to its new home.  Bring your own pet for a meet and greet before adopting.
