Car Seat Check Event

8 out of 10 car seats are used
incorrectly.  Is yours?  Safe Kids Gwinnett and the City of Norcross Police Department will host a Car Seat Check where nationally certified technicians
can help you properly install and use your child's car seat.

It's not enough to just have a safety seat for your child. For it to be effective, it has to also be properly installed and fit the child. This event provides parents a chance to make sure they have properly installed their child's safety seat in their car, to get assistance with one that they might have just purchased.  There will be trained professionals on-hand doing the inspections and assisting with installations for families.  This is a free event.  Bring your car seat, vehicle, and child if possible.
