One Way to Fix for Bridges

You may be able to strengthen bridges that are in need of repair with a simple spray-on product.

What if you could strengthen a bridge just by spraying a substance on it?

Bridges are in danger of failing is a scare tactic that we don't really know is certain. Most of the bridges that have fallen did so because something like a barge or 18-wheeler crashed into the supportive portions of them. I think more research is onoing regarding the bridges in Georgia.

However, there is one product that can strengthen and raise the re-evaluation of load capacity. It's called Rust Grip and, no, I do not sell it. I just know that engineers in other states have used this product and I think a company in Georgia did so as well.

Rust Grip adheres itself through layers of paint and sealants to bond itself to the basic metal, even it that metal is rusty. It totally encapsulates the structure. Then, it Β (according to one spec site I read) "strengthens surfaces to 6780 psi or 478 bar." I'm sure the psi means something to someone reading this.Β

Basically, you can paint or spray on Rust Grip in a short time and maybe avoid replacing a structure. Google it yourself because I'm not comfortable sending you to the manufacturer or distributor's website. I just wish I had the money to be a distributor!
