What Are You Cooking for Memorial Day?

Two Patch bloggers from the Norcross share some great dishes with readers on what to make for the long weekend, whether it's for a party or your taste buds only.

One of the greatest things about Memorial Day weekend is the outdoor party.

The weather hasn't gotten too hot, it's a three-day weekend, and there are lots and lots of American food.

If you've got everything covered except for the food part, or if you're looking for a new recipe, look no further than our Local Voices section. Our blogs cover an assortment of topics, from politics to pets, but we also have some amazing bloggers who love food.

Norcorss Patch's resident foodie, Pam Reich Hopper, regularly blogs a different recipe once or twice a week. For Memorial Day, she posted the ingredients and steps on how to make a Greek Layered Dip. She swears it's a family favorite, and it serves a whopping 18 people.

Patch also is fortunate to have Colleen Walsh Fong, a longtime resident of Norcross before her neighborhood switched to Peachtree Corners. She actually details on not one, but two different dishes: Smokin’ Chicken Drumsticks and Smokin’ Chicken Salad. Both are sure to be a hit at any party, whether it's for two people or 20.
