Norcross Weekend Planner: Art, Summer Music and Guns

It's the weekend! Here's what's happening in Norcross on Friday and Saturday: 

Summer Concert Series: Continental Danced Orchestra Dance along to  40's swing, bebop and band music at this week's summer concert for absolutely free. Bring a lawn chair, a blanket, picnic and drinks (just not in a glass) to Thrasher Park and enjoy the concert from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday.

Kudzu Art Zone's OPEN Exhibition: The Norcross gallery's first juried art exhibition of works from 71 artists is having its opening reception and awards presentation Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The exhibition debuted last week and runs through July 27. 

Eastman Gun Show Hosted by the North Atlanta Trade Center, the Eastman Gun Show is an opportunity to check out thousands of new and used guns, rifles, shotguns, knives, ammunition, holsters and more from numerous vendors. The show is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $10 and kids under 12 are free.
