Nine gardens in historic Duluth will be open for visitors from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 18.

The Duluth Historical Society’s Secret Garden Tour will feature nine gardens in historic Duluth. The gardens will be open for visitors from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 18.

The locations of the gardens on the tour are a secret. To get a map, and catch the shuttle, start the tour at the Strickland House, 2956 Buford Hwy. Parking is free.

Tickets are $25 each, which includes the shuttle. Garden art and drawing tickets will be on sale throughout the tour. Gardening experts will be available to answer questions.

Howard Brothers Hardware and Woody’s Nursery will showcase the latest lawn and garden equipment and accessories.

Tickets are on sale in Duluth at Gwinnett Community Bank, Howard Brothers Hardware, Woody’s Nursery, Strickland House, Main Street merchants and Duluth City Hall.

Proceeds benefit the preservation of the Historic Strickland House and grounds, home of the Duluth Historical Society and Duluth History Museum.
