Lionheart to Host Silent Auction at Independence Day Celebration in Norcross

Revelers can cool off and look for incredible deals at Lionheart Theatre Co.’s first-ever silent action from 3 p.m.- 8 p.m. during Norcross’ famous July 3rd celebration.

Lionheart has a huge selection of items such as Disney World tickets, Georgia Aquarium passes, art and jewelry from local artists, sports memorabilia, certificates from local restaurants, theatre passes, drama camp passes, and more.

To participate, bidders can casually view the auction items and then write down their bids with their contact information. Lionheart will contact the highest bidder, who can pay then by cash, check or credit card.

"This is the first time in 10 years that we’ve done a major fundraiser,” said Lionheart’s Producing Artistic Director Tanya Caldwell. “These funds will give us a needed boost to expand our programs to reach more people in the community.”

Lionheart is a non-profit organization that is run exclusively by volunteers. The theatre produces at least seven main-stage plays, children’s plays, story times, staged readings for playwrights, youth drama camps, and drama classes for children and adults.

The event is during Norcross’ annual 3rd of July celebration, where there will be bands, food, vendors, rides and a spectacular fireworks display.

Lionheart is located in the College Street Playhouse at 10 College St. in Historic Norcross, alongside the newly renovated Lillian Webb Park.
