Help Thrasher Park Become America's Favorite Park
Coca-Cola is hosting a "Take It to the Park" contest where the park with the most votes will receive $100,000.
Thrasher Park in Norcross can become America's favorite park.
Coca-Cola has its "Take It to the Park" contest, a national contest to see what is the best park in the country, according to the city of Norcross website.
Based on votes, the park with the most votes will win a $100,000 recreation grant from Coca-Cola, not to mention the title of "America's Favorite Park." Second- and third-place winners will receive $50,000 and $25,000 grants, respectively. Another $15,000 grant will be awarded to one random park that comes in fourth to 25th place.
There are many ways you can vote for your favorite park, including "checking in" on Foursquare, logging your daily activity on MapMyFitness or voting online using a computer or smartphone.
Voters can cast their votes every day, and it can be done three different ways:
- You can vote by going to the contest website, which counts as one vote
- You can vote five times by checking in via Foursquare
- You can get ten votes per day by logging 20 minutes of activity with MapMyFitness
