The community is important here at Fowler Y. In fact, our Healthier Communities Initiative is built on the concept that communities can work together to give all community members healthy choices and support the pursuit of healthy lifestyles.
A good example was seen this past Tuesday at National Night Out in Norcross, 'America’s Night Out Against Crime', in historic Norcross. "The night helps our neighbors get to know the services and programs we offer at the Y, and to say together we're standing up against crime," said Kushuna Exford, Membership/Marketing Director at Fowler Y.
Did you know that the Y is the largest, nonprofit community service organization in America. It is at the heart of community life in neighborhoods and towns across the country, and works to meet the health and social service needs of millions of men, women and children each year.
