Yarn Bombing - Knitting Communities Together

The Norcross Yarn Bombing group has been busy preparing their coverage of the town from lamp posts and benches to the park frogs - you will find surprises everywhere they look thus June.

Rare Purls, a fabulous little yarn store in downtown Duluth, and a sponsor of Yarn Bombing Norcross 2013, to host free yarn bombing workshop. Join Luke and Kay Mather, owner and resident fiber artist, and the Norcross yarn bombers for a free yarn bombing workshop at Rare Purls, 3579 West Lawrenceville Street on the square in Duluth on Saturday, March 23 from 11–2pm. If you've never done this before, that's okay, we'll show you how! Yarn Bombing Norcross is a vision for a community-led arts project that brings the many diverse communities of Gwinnett County together to create a stunning fiber arts installation in historic Norcross this June! That means we need your help make it happen! Visit us on Facebook at facebook.com/NorcrossYarnBomb Sponsored by Norcross Arts Alliance, the City of Norcross, and Rare Purls Yarn Boutique
