Jeepers Creepers, I've Got Tired Peepers: Day 2 of Tea

Reduce puffy eyes and soreness with tea bags.

By Colleen Walsh Fong

Does your hectic schedule keep you from getting enough sleep and leave bags under your eyes? Or, like most of us, are you looking at one electronic screen or another all day? What do you do to make your eyes feel better when they are overused or look puffy? Have you tried tea?

In this case I don’t recommend you drink the tea, but suggest soaking two bags in warm water—one for each eye. Then place one over each eye and leave them there for about 30 minutes so the tea’s tannin can soothe the burn of tiredness and take your puffiness down.

And if you’re really running ragged, consider checking into using the Easy Weekly Meals cooking system to buy yourself more time to add to your sleep schedule. The healthy meals should reduce food costs, too!

Check back in tomorrow for Day 3 of Tea, and in the meantime, treat your eyes the Easy way.
