Worldwide Aerospace Distributor Expands to Area

Bisco Industries, Inc, a global distributor of electronic components, fasteners and distribution services has just recently opened a facility in Technology Park.

The new office is the company's 39th location and officially opened its doors Aug. 28.  Three sales representatives have been employed to service clients in the company's South Atlantic Division.

Bisco distributes electronic components and fasteners used for production in aerospace, communication, computer, fabrication, industrial equipment, instrumentation, marine and military industries.

The company, in business for 38 years, is known for its global reach, specifically in the distribution of aerospace components.

Recently Gwinnett's District 2 Commissioner Lynette Howard welcomed the new business to the community.

"Georgia is home to more than 500 firms that perform all facets of aerospace, making Bisco Industries an important resource for existing companies and enabling them to continue their efforts in making our state a dominant force in this competitive niche industry," she said in a press release.

Bisco Industries, Inc. has 40 facilities as well as six distribution centers throughout the United States and Canada.

The company's director of marketing, Joshua Uhlich said Bisco is "looking forward to becoming a part of this thriving pro-business community."
