Terra Dog Bakery Closes Norcross Storefront

At the end of June, announced the closing of its storefront in downtown Norcross after being at the Skin Alley shop for six months.

The organic dog treats company posted the following statement on its Facebook wall June 30:

From all of us here at Terra Dog Bakery, we want to extend a sincere thank you for all of your support! Our sixth month trial for a retail location has been a great experience and it was so awesome to meet you all (and the pups too of course!). Our production company, Atlanta Idea Studio, has gained tremendous momentum causing us to scale Terra Dog Bakery back to an exclusive online based business. We will be expanding our studio into the retail space of the store. Our personalized and breed specific treats will still be available for purchase online and those orders can be shipped to you. We appreciate your patronage, and thank you for making Terra Dog Bakery your source for organic dog treats!

Co-owner Tim Suggs, who runs the business with brother and chef Andrew, told Norcross Patch that Terra Dog Bakery was always an Internet marketing company as a division of the Atlanta Idea Studio, which shared an office with the storefront. They applied many of their "marketing techniques to test performance and gain exposure," said Suggs.

"After managing the bakery along with our growing video production and Internet marketing divisions of Atlanta Idea Studio, it became evident that we had to choose where to place our focus," added Suggs. "We saw a greater need to provide our video production and Internet marketing services to others, and therefore closed the Terra Dog storefront."

The Atlanta Idea Studio, which Suggs runs with Todd Pringle, has worked on a number of projects, including a and a . Suggs said they're working on another video for the city and they also have a number of future projects lined up with corporate clients.

The studio is located at the former bakery at 51 S. Peachtree St. in Suite 5 and 6.
