Stop by Patch Booth at Expo

Norcross Patch and other Patch community news sites in Gwinnett County participating in Gwinnett Chamber Business Expo on Thursday, Aug. 23.

Norcross Patch and other Patch community news sites in Gwinnett County will be participating in the 2012 Gwinnett Chamber Business Expo & Job Fair from noon to 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, at in Duluth.

The Expo will showcase 150 exhibitors following a Chamber General Membership Luncheon featuring Gov. Nathan Deal, according to a press release issued by the chamber. Human Resource professionals from Gwinnett companies that are currently hiring will be available to meet with job seekers in the Job Fair.

Gwinnett Medical Center is the presenting sponsor for the event.

  • 11 a.m.-1 p.m.: General Membership Meeting featuring Gov. Nathan Deal
  • Noon-5 p.m.: Business Expo
  • Noon-5 p.m.: Job Fair
  • Noon-4:30: p.m.: Silent Auction
  • 1:15 p.m.-2:30 p.m.: Free Educational Seminars
  • 5 p.m.-7 p.m.: Business After Hours

Delta Community Credit Union is sponsoring a silent auction. Attendees earn credits to bid on items in the silent auction by visiting exhibitor booths.  

Prizes include win a Gwinnett Braves suite with 20 tickets, an iPod nano with a Nike Plus running chip, Georgia Force season tickets, “Sesame Street Live” and “War Horse” tickets, Lake Lanier Canopy Tours (zip lines), a River Club golf foursome with lunch, and more.
