Restaurant Inspections: Food Debris on Can Opener, Incorrect Food Temperatures

This week's review includes only one restaurant with an "A."

Following is a list of five Norcross-area restaurants which have been inspected recently by the Gwinnett County's Board of Health.

Officials inspect restaurants every six months and grade them based on extensive criteria. Restaurants are required to prominently display these reports.

Comments: Can opener with food debris, time controls not documented according to written procedure, large amounts of food being cooled improperly, and more.

Comments: In-use wet wiping cloths found stored in chlorine sanitizer that was at incorrect concentration.

Comments: Cooked chicken, cooked beef, raw chicken and shrimp cold at incorrect temperature, no working digital thermometer available in the facility, bleach test strips not available, and more.

Comments: Person in charge had no knowledge of the employee health policy, hand sink in kitchen are was blocked by large cart, and certain foods being displayed in a manner that would contaminate them, and more.
