Pitch Your Big Business Proposal for "Shark Tank"

Daymond John, of ABC's entrepreneurial business show "Shark Tank," will be in Atlanta on Aug. 31 in an effort to find the next big business success story.

Have a business you want to pitch to ABC’s entrepreneurial business show “Shark Tank”? You could get your chance.

Next month, Fashion icon, business mogul and panelist on the show, Daymond John, will be in Atlanta to meet the city’s aspiring inventors and business enthusiasts.

The Pitch ‘The Shark” Business Breakfast is scheduled to be in Atlanta on Aug. 31 for an event at the W – Atlanta Midtown. The W – Atlanta Midtown is located at 188 14th Street NE, Atlanta, GA 30361. The program begins promptly at 7 a.m. and concludes at 11 a.m. Tickets are available at www.pitchtheshark.com. It is hosted by the Black & Latino Council, ProNetworker and The Wilson Group.

According to a press release, the Pitch ‘The Shark’ Breakfast will give budding entrepreneurs and small business owners in the Atlanta community a chance to pitch to a shark. The Pitch “The Shark” Business Breakfast will provide participants the opportunity to submit a summary of their business plan. This gives them an opportunity to be one of the six finalist that will make a 5-minute pitch of their business idea, invention, product or service to John and a panel of angel investors, successful business leaders and venture capitalists.

“The event is ideal for individuals at every level of business development. Early stage entrepreneurs, established business owners, and proven entrepreneurs looking to planning their next venture are encouraged to attend the event. Participants will also reflect the diversity of Atlanta’s business community. Attendees will represent a wide selection of professions, industries, and cultures. Invited guests includes some of the area’s most influential entrepreneurs and professionals from the Latino and African-American communities as well as a host of women and minority-owned business leaders,” the press release reads.
