Indian Restaurant Reopens in Norcross as Burger Delite

Tava & Grill in Atlanta has moved to Jimmy Carter Boulevard as an establishment with Halal-American food.

After a year-long absence, , an Indian-Pakistani restaurant on DeKalb Industrial Way in Atlanta, has reopened in the Norcross area.

But don't show up to its new Jimmy Carter Boulevard location in search of Indian food. You're more likely to get a burger.

It's now called Burger Delite.

The restaurant's owners spent the last year looking at several locations, some of them in downtown Decatur, but posted to Facebook saying they were too expensive, so they headed to Norcross.

They're located now in the Cedar Village Shopping Center and its sign boasts "Halal-American"-style food.

Hi Everyone!
Finally, we are back in business. It's been a long 10 months and it feels really great to do be doing what we love most - serve good food.
Although, this time we are in a slightly different type of operation. It's actually an existing American fast food restaurant and we are trying to infuse some of the Indian cuisine. We have introduced something called SIZZLERS - a must try.... There is a choice of Chicken, Fish, Shrimp or Veggie.
Not that we have shelved the idea of an authentic Indian restaurant, but the current lease terms do not permit us to do so since there is an existing Indian-Pakistani restaurant already in the same strip.
We are and will be surely looking to do Tava & Grill again, but in the mean time I encourage you'll to come and give us a try. Promise you a treat!
