Like a blueberry cake donut? How about a cinnamon twist? You can pick one up on your way to the 85 now, since Sarah Donuts opened a new shop on Jimmy Carter Blvd. The white-and-pink, minimal design and unique flavors promise more than your average donut shop experience.
The founder, Sarah Park, has two other shops in the area, in Duluth and Suwanee, and also 16 successful shops in Texas, according to a release from the company.
The owners say that the cupcake craze is getting a run for its money. Donuts are the new trend. Funky flavors like red velvet cake and devil’s food add a touch of trend.

The store is located at 5860 Jimmy Carter Blvd, next to the Five Guys Burger shop. The grand opening ceremony will be held on Nov. 16. Check back with Patch for more.
