Flying Biscuit Update: Restaurant Gets '100/A' in Latest Inspection

After posting two failing scores in September, Flying Biscuit gets a perfect 100.

Nearly three weeks after its first failing health inspection this month, the Gwinnett Flying Biscuit located has re-opened for business and with a perfect score.

Restaurant management posted the Sept. 24 health inspection on its Facebook page with this comment:

"We are open and look forward to serving our guests with the best service possible," officials stated.

Located in the Norcross and Peachtree Corners area, the restaurant received back-to-back failing health scores earlier this month, and had to close.

On Sept. 23, management posted this, as well:

"As a result of the recent news of our health score, we here at Flying Biscuit Norcross would like to regain your trust back by being open and honest about what caused the low score, and how we've already improved.

"Upon this incident, we immediately hired 3rd party auditors, Steritech, to spend an intensive 3 days in training all staff members the updated health inspection standards. In addition, Steritech will continue to audit Flying Biscuit locations, including Norcross, through random inspections on top of the ones completed by the County. This ensures that not only are we up to par, but we're way beyond the standards you expect from your Flying Biscuit Cafes."

Loyal customers were pleased at the attention to concerns, and of the recent 100/A. On Facebook, one patron said:

"I am very impressed with your integrity and commitment to addressing these concerns. Norcross continues to be my favorite Flying Biscuit location!"

Now, that the breakfast spot is back in the good graces of health inspectors, will you return to the Gwinnett Flying Biscuit?
