Norcross Unveils Final Town Center Plan Tonight

The last town hall meeting will be an open house Wednesday.

The city of Norcross will have its final town hall meeting for the future downtown plan Wednesday, May 23.

Since the start of the year, engineering firm Pond and Co. and a city committee have been holding to get the public's input. The proposed plan is intended to update the .

With the study area being between Langford Road and Jimmy Carter Boulevard, the Norcross Town Center Downtown Plan has outlined what to do about land use, transportation and urban design over the next 20 years. The plan has every specific detail, from where a bike path would go to what street would house a three-story midrise office.

A five-year action plan will also be presented at Wednesday's meeting.

The open house will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the at 10 College St. in downtown. The community is welcome to swing by any time and stay for as long as they wish.
