The event, a fundraiser for Norcross Co-operative Ministries and Rainbow Village, will feature short classes on wine, samples of all wines, and food from around the world prepared by members of the congregation. In addition, an auction will be held featuring home wine tastings for up to 20 people, and many other bid items.

The wine list includes bottles from the United States, France, Italy, Spain, Australia, South Africa and Chile. Each country will be represented by at least four wines.

Families are welcome, but only people 21 years old or older may sample the wine. Babysitting services are available upon request. Non-alcoholic beverages will be available. Appetizers and finger-foods will be available before the meal.

The festivities begin at 6 p.m. with appetizers and wine with entrees after 7:00, and dancing during the celebration until 11 p.m.

Tickets cost $25 in advance, $30 at the door, and include all wines and food. Register online at http://www.ccnorcross.org/news.html (Paypal or credit card) or buy tickets on Sundays at the church at 400 Holcomb Bridge Road in Norcross.

Norcross Co-operative Ministries provides food, furniture and clothing to people in hard times. The Rainbow Village is a community-based, transitional housing program that promotes self-sufficiency for people caught in the cycle of homelessness, poverty, and domestic violence.
