C.H. Briggs Expands into Norcross, Widens Georgia-Tennessee Market

The distributor of interior and specialty building products has opened a 28,000-square-foot facility in Norcross.

C.H. Briggs Company, one of the nation's largest independently owned distributors of interior and specialty building products, recently announced the opening of a new facility in Norcross.

The 28,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution center will house and distribute DuPont's Corian and Zodiaq products and accessories. It joins four other centers in South Carolina, Maryland and Pennsylvania, the company said in a press release.

"Our decision to expand is the result of continued strong growth in the Georgia and eastern Tennessee markets," said company president Don Schalk, in a press release. "The addition of the new warehouse enables us to increase local inventory levels of key products so that orders can be fulfilled faster to meet our customers' needs for quick turnaround."
