A Green Approach to Cleaning

Keeping houses clean the 'green' way comes naturally to Jackie Allen, who owns an Ecomaids franchise and knows what it really means to 'clean green.'

Jackie Allen and Pat Smith are co-owners of the Ecomaids franchise, a green cleaning service committed to making the planet a better place for everyone.

Ecomaids is an established national franchise with more than 30 locations in the United States. The company only uses eco-friendly Green Seal certified cleaning solutions and techniques, multi-level HEPA-filtered vacuums, and unique microfiber tools and cloths.

"We decided to buy the Ecomaids franchise because we both have grandchildren with allergies and skin sensitivities," says Allen. "Cleaning with bleach and other toxic household chemicals just didn’t make sense anymore and we felt that more of the northern burbs needed to be 'green.'"

Allen and Smith go back a long way, which has made their partnership an ideal arrangement for working together through Ecomaids. They collectively raised seven children in Roswell and have remained best friends for more 25 years.

Allen moved to Cumming and has found her niche working with Smith to make every home a clean green haven for families throughout Johns Creek, Alpharetta, Suwanee, Cumming and the Norcross area.

“The dramatic increase in children with asthma has been directly attributed to the use of household chemicals and we wanted to let people know that can change and Ecomaids can help," explains Allen. “Our clients love us once they see the difference that we make in their home…we like to call it 'Ecomaids Clean.'”

Allen and Smith strive to make households a place where families can breathe easy and feel assured that it comes from using the safest products available for a greener, cleaner home or office.
