Norcross Art Fest Needs Volunteers

The festival is a little more than a month away, so make sure to sign up for the time slots you want before they're filled.

It may be six weeks away, but the Norcross Art Fest is already looking for volunteers.

The annual outdoor festival, which will take place Oct. 6 and Oct. 7 downtown, needs hundreds of volunteers to help with its 160-plus artists, food vendors, musical performers and more.

Setting up artists' tents, traffic control, recycling and T-shirt sales are just some of the opportunities volunteers can assist in.

"For many of us, it's become our annual fall tradition! We are starting our volunteer recruitment now so that we can get our slots filled no later than mid-September," says an email by Splash Festivals, the organization in charge of the Art Fest.

Online registration is available for easy sign-up, and the site lays out specifics as to what time slots are available or filled, in addition to which duties.
