Vargas & Harbin to Host Fundraiser for Hurricane Sandy Victims

Vargas & Harbin Studio Gallery in Historic Downtown Norcross is hosting a fundraiser for Hurricane Sandy victims this Wednesday.

From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., the gallery will be raffling many pieces of artwork and photography from local artists. Downtown restaurants such as Mojitos, 45 South Cafe and Iron Horse Tavern are donating appetizers for the fundraising event.

A $5 donation is suggestion per raffle ticket, and of course, buying more raffle tickets will increase one's chances to win a piece of artwork.

Gwinnett Artworks Director Sally Corbett has helped organize the event, as she is leaving Atlanta to return to the New York area to be closer to family.

Vargas and Harbin Studio Gallery is located at 27 S. Peachtree Street in Norcross. The Hurricane Sandy fundraiser will take place Wednesday, Nov. 14, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
