Get pumped for the weekend with a little of everything in the entertainment department.

Start the weekend with one of the last summer concerts of the summer featuring A-town A-list. Having shared the stage with Bruce Springsteen and Dave Matthews, A-town A-list sings pop songs from the last 50 years with a very "current, modern edge." Music starts at 7:30 and end at 9:30 p.m. in .

It's another artsy weekend in the Norcross area with Folk Fest 2012 at the . Kicking off this Friday at 5 p.m., the 19th annual art show will have more than 80,000 square feet of vendors in the self-taught art spectrum, Southern folk pottery, outsider art and more. The Folk Fest attracts around 12,000 visitors every year, and those who purchase a $15 weekend pass also gets a free t-shirt. Same-day passes are $7 each.

The event is open Friday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Finish off the weekend with some World War II education in a documentary screening of followed by a discussion from Holocaust survivor Suzi Schwarz. Schwarz is a child saved by Kindertransport, the rescue mission that helped 10,000 children escape concentration camps during World War II. Doors for the free event open at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 19in the Norcross Cultural Arts and Community Center. The movie will start at 4 p.m. with the dicussion following.
