Renowned Fantasy Artist to Sign Middle-Earth Calendars During 'The Hobbit' at Lionheart

Jef Murray will unveil his 2013 calendar during the showing of "The Hobbit" at Lionheart Theatre in Norcross.

World-famous fantasy artist Jef Murray will be on hand at Lionheart Theatre Company’s live Sunday performance of J.R.R. Tolkien’s fantasy adventure "The Hobbit" to sign his new 2013 Jef Murray Middle-Earth Calendar and show posters.

Murray will be available before the Sunday show from 1p.m. to 2 p.m. and immediately following the show at 3:45 p.m. Fans can purchase calendars without attending the show and can also purchase autographed calendars at other shows. The calendars are $17 each and the posters are $5.  Murray is generously sharing proceeds of the calendar sales with the non-profit community theatre. He also donated the artwork for the poster.

Decatur-based Murray is an internationally known artist, author, and illustrator. His paintings, sketches, and writings sprout sporadically from the leaves of fantasy publications and calendars worldwide. His artwork has been featured in video courses and television specials on J.R.R. Tolkien.
