Drama Camps at Lionheart Offer Creative Summer Fun

Young actors will learn to sing, dance and act in a high-fun and low-stress environment at ’s affordable summer drama camps.

“My daughter had a blast at this camp,” said Nicole Coffin-Ott of Norcross. “She was encouraged to sing, dance and act totally wacky in a safe environment.  I think she really saw that being creative and uniquely herself was cool.” 

May 29-June 1, 10 a.m.- noon, is Favorite Stories Camp for ages 4-7. Our youngest actors will perform songs and skits from some of their favorite children’s stories. The cost for the four-day camp is $75 and $55 for siblings.

May 29-June 1, 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., campers ages 7-12 head over the rainbow to the Back to Oz Camp and perform songs and scenes from "The Wizard of Oz," "The Wiz" and "Wicked." The cost for the 4-day camp is  $100 and $75 for siblings. 

June 25-29, 10 a.m.-noon, campers ages 4-7 get ready for July 4th at Patriotic Fun Camp with patriotic skits and songs. The cost is $85 if paid before June 1, $100 after June 1, siblings $75.

June 25-29, 12:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m., Get your red, white and blue on for Born in the USA! Campers ages 7-12 perform scenes and songs from patriotic shows like "1776" and "Yankee Doodle Dandy." The cost is $125 if paid before June 1, $150 after June 1, siblings $100. 

June 25-29, 3:45 p.m.-5:15 p.m., is Advanced Musical Theater for ages 10-adult with some stage, singing or dance experience. Campers work on one great musical theater number taught by a professional choreographer/director and perform it at the Lionheart Talent Show. The cost is only $20.

July 29 at 7 p.m. is the Lionheart Talent Show. Open mic fun for kids and adults. 7-10 pm. $5 admission for audience and performers.
