It's Time to Sparkle in Norcross

The annual downtown holiday celebration kicks off Friday, Nov. 30.

Carriage rides, carolers, a tree lighting, hot chocolate, cookies... It's that time of year again in Norcross.

Historic Downtown Norcross is kicking off its annual Sparkle season this Friday, Nov. 30, at 5:45 p.m. A tree lighting in Thrasher Park will kick off the month-long event, and there also will be choirs of music, photos with Santa, hot chocolate and cookies, horse-drawn carriage rides, movies in the park and more.

The evening wouldn't be complete without some giving, too: Bring a can of non-perishable food to donate to the community food bank.

The city of Norcross has a whole list of holiday events planned for the rest of the month, too: ornament crafting, workshops and performances at Lionheart Theatre Co., a tour of the historic cemetery, a Menorah lighting, kids caroling, and much more.
