Get Your Girl Scouts Cookies this Week

The Girl Scouts, a value-based organization evolving to meet the needs and challenges of girls today, will be selling their famous cookies this week.

Gwinnett County residents can support the Girl Scouts and enjoy those tasty famous cookies beginning this week at several cookie booths around Norcross and Peachtree Corners.

This year is a big year. In honor of the organization’s 100th anniversary, a new cookie from none other than the state of Georgia hits the stands – “Savannah Smiles.”

According to the organization’s website, it is a bite-sized lemon wedge cookie with a dusting of powered sugar. Savannah featured prominently in plans for the new cookie because of its history as home of Girl Scouts founder Juliette Gordon Low.
