Find Out What's Happening at Peachtree Corners 2nd Annual Festival

The 2012 event is two days filled with arts & crafts, car shows, entertainment, food - and fun for the whole family.

All of Peachtree Corners is buzzing about the upcoming Peachtree Corners Festival.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 30 from 10 a.m. -8 p.m. and Sunday July 1 from Noon-5 p.m.  The Festival is a rain or shine event.

A few new things have been added to this year’s list of events.  The 2012 Festival will include a 5K/10K Road Race, juried art & craft show, car show with awards, live music, activities for children, a parade, and plenty of great food!

It is still not too late to sign up to be part of the first Peachtree Corners Festival Road Race which takes place on Saturday, June 30 from 7-9 a.m. Registration for the car show begins at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday with awards presented at 3:00 p.m. by the city's newly elected Mayor Mike Mason. The festival organizers are anticipating up to 100 cars for your viewing pleasure.

On Sunday at 1 p.m. the Parade and City Rally will begin on The Corners Parkway just north of Woodhill Drive with presentation of the Mayor and City Council.  Kids should come prepared to fill their bags with candy passed out by parade participants from the Festival.

All of the other Festival activities will continue from last year including the famous “Tree Man” and juggling acts on stage along with the street performers, inflatables and a new trackless train ride for the kid’s area.

We have great musical acts scheduled with the ever popular Oswald Brothers Band and over 60 arts and crafts vendors are lined up for your shopping pleasure.

Come out for a weekend of fun and food for the best family friendly festival around!  Please go to www.peachtreecornersfestival.org for more details.
