Chick-fil-A to Host 'Spirit Night' Fundraiser

Enter a drawing to throw out the first pitch at a Gwinnett Braves game and help benefit the Gwinnett Children's Shelter.

Here's your chance to throw the first pitch in an upcoming Gwinnett Braves Game.

The 17 Gwinnett County Chick-fil-A restaurants, including the , are holding a Spirit Night on Wednesday, April 18, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. All who attend will be entered into a drawing to win the honor of throwing the first pitch of the May 12 Gwinnett Braves game.

Spirit Night is being held to benefit the Gwinnett Children's Shelter (GCS) and a percentage of sales will go to GCS, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary.

The drawing winner will be escorted on to the field in a Chick-fil-A vehicle by the "Eat Mor Chikin" cows and will throw out the first pitch with Javy Lopez.

Tickets for the May 12 game can be purchased here, and a portion of each ticket sold through GCS will be donated back to support the mission of the Shelter.

The Gwinnett Children's Shelter is a residential care facility that provides both long- and short-term services to youths, 12 to 21 years of age, who have experienced abuse, neglect, violence, abandonment, and/or are in need of supervised care.
