Save the Date: 3rd Annual Norcross Police Appreciation Day

Join us as we show our law enforcement officers how much we appreciate them!

The Norcross Police Appreciation Committee instituted this annual appreciation thanks to an idea submitted by local resident Gwendolyn Johns.  Now in its third year the event continues to grow every year.  On Thursday, September 8, 2011, the Norcross community will gather to show our police officers how much we appreciate them.  Our citizens, elected-officials and community leaders will come together to honor these men and women.

The Police Department actively participates in the planning of the awards and works directly with the Appreciation Committee in securing a location, food donations, plaques and awards for those officers being honored.  We will also be honoring a local resident with the coveted Helping Hands Award this award recognizes and honors an individual who goes above and beyond what is normally expected in our community.  If you would like to nominate someone please contact Keith Shewbert or Greg McFarland for more information.

The committee invites you to join us as a corporate business sponsor, or to make a donation to this most worthwhile event.  All donations are tax deductible.  Your support is not only critical to the success of this event, but most importantly, to the officers who serve us.
