Breakfast Has Been Served!
Giving back to the wonderful men and women of the Norcross Police Department.
The Norcross Police Appreciation Committee recently hosted a Breakfast Social for the officers. Now in its third year, the committee used feedback from last year and decided to split the annual event into two distinct events. Going forward the Breakfast Social will be held the third Thursday in May and the Dinner Awards Banquet will continue to be held the second Thursday in September.
The Community Room at City Hall was transformed into a social gathering room for the officers to sit and enjoy a variety of breakfast items. Thanks to Hampton Inn Northlake the breakfast this year was again fully catered.
Special thanks to local resident Gwendolyn Johns, who submitted this idea three years ago and continues to be part of the committee. Thanks to Brian Mock, Victor Pastor, Faye McFarland and Greg McFarland for coming out at 5 a.m. to setup and serve these deserving officers!
