Forefront Arts is offering an "Aladdin" theatre class for kids with Chamblee Parks & Rec at Keswick Community Bldg (3496 Keswick Drive, Chamblee).
The class is on Mondays 4-5 pm and starts this coming week. Late-starters are welcome and tuition will be pro-rated.
Students (ages 5-12) will learn warm-ups, play theatre games, receive training in acting technique, vocal skills, choreography, and theatre etiquette and terminology while rehearsing selections from Disney's "Aladdin" We'll perform the show in December. (Our spring theatre class will work on a performance of "Willy Wonka").
A preschool Creative Dramatics class for ages 3-5 is offered 3:15-4 pm and a Playbuilding (playwriting and performance) class for ages 8-12 will be offered 5-6 pm.
The fee is $165 for 1 class or $250 for 2 classes (per child).
