It's Back to School for Norcross Students
If you have a child who attends one of the Gwinnett County public schools, here are five things you need to know before classes start.
Summer is coming to an end. Next Wednesday, kids will be boarding school buses once again and headed to school. Here are five things you need to know about the new school year:
1. The first day of school is Wednesday, August 7.
2. The last day of school is Wednesday, May 21, assuming there are no snow days to make up.
3. Elementary school students will pay $2.25 for lunch. Middle and high school students will pay a quarter more.
4. GCPS welcomed eight brand new principals over the summer.
5. Buses will conduct practice runs Wednesday, July 31 through Tuesday, August 6.
