Take Joy: A Twelfth Night Celebration!
Long after the shopping malls have hauled away their festive décor, the Christmas fire will be burning bright at Christ Church Episcopal, Norcross!
Join The Christ Church Players as they honor the last day of Christmas with “Take Joy: a Twelfth Night Celebration!” This fully costumed performance features the secular and sacred music, drama and dance of Medieval and Renaissance Europe. “Take Joy” has something to suit every palate: haunting poetry, rollicking country dances, soaring solos, and boisterous choruses (the ‘Top 40’ tunes of the day).
Following the performance, join our merry Wassailers for a festive reception in the Great Hall as we toast the beginning of Epiphany: the Season of Light!
“Take Joy” is free and open to the public.
More About Christ Church Episcopal
Christ Church Episcopal welcomes everyone. The church offers two services on Sunday—the first in English and the second in Spanish. A youth center academy is located on-site for parents who wish to enroll their children. A thrift store and church office are located next to the church, both open to the public (not just members). People can even stop by and enjoy their lunch at the picnic tables on site. Bible study classes are also available.
