DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a fun evening of dinner and dancing\, cele
 brating our first graduates.&nbsp\; Nuru Center's mission is to empower 
 orphaned and poor children in rural Kenya to achieve their highest poten
 tial and grow to become confident\, competent\, self-reliant\, and produ
 ctive members of their communities by providing food\, shelter\, clothin
 g\, medical care\, and educational opportunities.&nbsp\; Our Elimu Progr
 am offers scholarships to children who could otherwise not afford to att
 end high school.&nbsp\; We are excited to celebrate the children who we 
 have sponsored the last four years as they prepare to graduate high scho
 ol.&nbsp\; The proceeds raised from this gala will benefit future schola
 rship recepients\, as well as the purchase of materials needed to build 
 our orphanage on land Nuru Center purchased earlier this year.&nbsp\; Ti
 ckets for the gala are available for purchase on our website.&nbsp\; $50
  for one and $90 for two.
