Norcross Fireworks 2012 (In The Rain)

As in years past The City of Norcross, GA celebrated our nations independence on July 3rd with a beautiful fireworks display over Lillian Webb Park. The day was full of fun! Good music, good food and great friends. But Mother Nature had a plan of her own this year and before the show could kick off she decided to give us a beautiful display of weather over the town. Being a photo junkie I do have to admit the clouds were beautiful with lightening before the rain came down.

After a couple of hours of rain without showing any signs of letting up, the city decided to join Mother Nature and let the display begin. What a beautiful display it was! Especially from the point of view I had from the launch sight with fellow employees of the city Chris and Marcus. Attached is the video from that night. I thought it would be nice to show this to you since many never get to see the show from the launch site. Also check out how it mixed with the storm that evening. At 2min and 34sec you get to see the lightening that joined in on the fun…

I hope all of you had a beautiful 4th of July and that the weekend is just as fun!
