National Media Love Affair With Obama Waning

It is said that over 68 percent of Americans now get their news from comic-farce news show like The Cobert Report and The John Stewart Show.  The strange thing about this is that the viewers of these farce news shows score just as high as the viewers of national news channels when tested about the national news.  These show tend to skew their "coverage' of the major news of the day into hilarity views that have been, up to this point, very favorable to the president. The tide is turning after the president's Libyan fiasco and suspected cover up.

The John Stewart Show, ten time Emmy Award winner, farce news show, in a rare departure from promoting Obama, commented on the Obama-Libyan debacle.  It shows the media’s love affair with Obama has begun to swing as they have opened their eyes to the lack of his ability to lead.  His lack of leadership has been ignored by the mainstream liberal media. The terrorist attacks and the deaths of 4 Americans in Libya, have the national news liberal gatekeepers reporting in a more balanced manner.  It is sad that it took these deaths before the media decided to stop their love affair with Obama.  A cover-up is suspected and congress is asking for an investigation. With a Pulitzer or a Peabody Award up for grabs all love affairs are off!

To think that on the anniversary of 911, an American day of pain due to a terrorist attack, that an attack on an American embassy should not be suspect as a terrorist attack is outrageous!  Any fool can put 2 and 2 together so, why can't the president and his team?  To think that the killing of 4 Americans and the destruction of the Libyan Embassy on 911 were nothing more that a spontaneous action about a movie is about as foolish as President Bush saying that the plane flying into the second twin tower or the plane flying into the Pentagon was nothing more than the pilots playing pranks together!   Our president is out calling himself "Eye Candy" as our national security is at risk.  At what point will the left quit saying, 'Well, it could have been worse!" and realize Obama is in over his head! His lack of leadership and strength over the last four years has opened the door for our enemies to feel empowered by his obvious weakness in foreign affairs.

As the main stream media continue to report on the faults of Obama's national security views, many of the 20 percent undecided voters are moving to a candidate who will make the hard decisions and spend more time in the Situation Room and less time in the Green Rooms.

You decide just how funny this event has become by watching the following clip.

Now, Cynthia, you know that was just a "bump" in the road. Why are you being so hard on our eye candy? What goes around, comes around. This should be on his conscience for a long time...oh wait...
You and I know it was an act of war. How we must look to our enemies (and God forbid, our allies). *shudder*

Obama has not been well for about 3 months. I have been posting his poor judgement decisions for all to see, his calling the terrorist attack a movie issue, his constant need to be on TV for adoration, his calling himself EYE CANDY, his not showing up at the UN for one on one's, are all tell tail signs that he can not handle the stress of being president. His "PLAN" is not working like his teachers told him it would. The economy is horrible. The American people will not listen anymore as they have spent their retirement & savings. Those handling him know not to let him into hostile territory. It did not surprise me in the least that he fell apart at the debate, AS I HAVE BEEN SAYING THE STRESS IS TOO MUCH on him and his method of dealing with the stress it to go where he is not challenged and is lauded over by overpaid left winged Boob Tube stars. His party has attributed his deplorable debate on everything from altitude to his personality. I think it is time for him to get some one on one with a professional doctor that handles stress so we will not continue to see his demise. I believe his second debate will be even worse, now he has to contend with his obvious failure of the first debate. His "yes people" are still ohhing & ahhing over him. But even leftist political reporters are according him a deep failure on the debate. One can only handle so much & his past actions had me wondering about his mental state of mind long before his "EMPTY CHAIR" fiasco.

Did you get your psychology and medical degrees from the Ralph Reed grade school of snark and bull manure? You might try to heal yourself Doc.

Lee, I believe in the medical field & I believe Obama needs someone to talk to about his stress level. Are you not concerned about Obama? Do you not sense that something is not quite right with him? I do not say it with joy, I have been worried about him ever since he choose TV adulation over be in charge of the country. His many vacations & plentiful golf dates are not producing a relaxed mind. When Reagan was in his final months, it became clear that his mind was not sharp. I was worried then. Later we found out it was indeed a mental decline. I do not have a medical degree. I do not claim to have a medical degree but it does not take a doctor to see that his constant need for praise & his past decisions are questionable at the very least. Please give me any reason as to why his recent behavior of ignoring the truth of a very dangerous situations & opting for TV appearances ( where no one will challenge his opinions) shows a sign of a healthy mindset. Most know that the killing of ANY Americans, let alone 4 political Americans, on 911 should have been looked into before stating, "It was in retaliation of a movie!" To me, it was just another "blaming" example and a sign of his down playing the terrorist attack & not accepting the responsibility for not upgrading the embassy security. His total melt down at the debate again shows he is not able to engage in the reality of his position as president. How does having a stressed out president benefit me, you, or our country?

Cynthia, when I took abnormal psychology in college (got my degree in Human Services towards masters in counseling), there is an actual disorder (personality disorder) called Histronic personality disorder. How many times have many called him out for his love affair with himself and refusal to think he is wrong and inability to play well with others. All symptoms of a histronic personality. If such could be true, then being in his position is dangerous. Here's but one example of how it can be deadly. While feeding his ego, people were killed in Libya.

I hope Romney pulls a full scale investigation and charges are brought. In the military, you would go before a tribunal for derelection of duty. So, is there any reason why the one at the top cannot see the same treatment?

Note the first one was ABC news. Even the liberal news stations are becoming increasingly unable to ignore these things.

Of course, I'm not sure I know what it's called when a person has to turn peoples words around and call everthing BS (among other derogatory words) when others don't agree with them, rather than having a mature, thoughtful conversation. All I know is that they vote to the left. ;)

How is it that the US can not get in there but, the reporters can? I will read up on this "Histronic personality disorder" but I just see his vacating of his presidential duties in favor of appearing on the BOOB TUBE as cause for concern. When the Middle East is burning, there are riots at 42 American Embassies across the world, 4 Americans killed abroad, the UN having one on one meetings with world leaders and where is Obama? Bringing a "A tisket a tasket" to the He-liberal-women on the View! Any normal person would take a second look at the mind that is making those decisions. I think he thinks he is a tv personality instead of a president! I firmly believe that once a death could be attributed to his lack of leadership the media had to begin to quit giving him a pass. Their lack of negative coverage on his has been deployable. Once they began to loose viewers and money they had to stop the "Obama Pass" they had been giving him. From talking to my friends and family, CNN & FOX viewership is up ABC and CBS is down. Thanks for the sights to view about this sad information showing his demise.

Got this from WEBMD- I'm having too much fun with this...Histrionic personality disorder is one of a group of conditions called "Cluster B" or "dramatic" personality disorders. People with these disorders have intense, unstable emotions and distorted self-images. For people with histrionic personality disorder, their self-esteem depends on the approval of others and does not arise from a true feeling of self-worth. They have an overwhelming desire to be noticed, and often behave dramatically or inappropriately to get attention. The word histrionic means "dramatic or theatrical."

I paid attention when he kept appearing on the BOOB TUBE! I took real notice when he mentioned "EYE CANDY." Is was as if he was desiring them to be on much closer level with them than they were or should be. Why, I mean really...WHY would a president tell 5 ladies he is just their "EYE CANDY?" It was sick in a very perverted way, I don't ever want my president to tell women to call him eye candy! Clinton is a case study that any psychologist would love to have. He has more than one disorder, he is a classical case. He has caused so much pain to those in his life, especially the women in his life. Liberals do the deed and deny. Those on the right do the deed and retire. It is all a matter of your shame level. I just think someone on the left should help him. Our past four years have been, "Well, it could be worse and It is not my fault" and now he is only "alive" when he is getting adulations from a group cheering for him or drooling over him. His comment of, "I gain strength from the crowds" is in my mind another clear indicator that he needs cheers to feel "normal." We are all have front row seats to watch this play out. Check out the Wikapedia entry on it.

Eric Erikson said today that the media basically 'carried his water" for the past 3 years and now he is screwing up so much and so many things that they are starting to turn on him. Good timing.

I hope that a Romney administraton does a deep investigation into the Libya scandal and heads roll as they should. People are dead now - our own ambassador! He never even flew out there- flew to vegas instead! What is scariest to me is that we have people who see this and still vote for the clown! Reminds me of how people know that drugs our alcohol will harm their bodies but overindulge anyway. They vomit th next morning and are sicker than a dog, but soon forget it once they start over again. He is down right treasonous to our country.

The lure of a investigative award was just too much for the journalist that have been sitting on a time bomb. I believe that as long as no one was killed they would have continued to "support" him. When 4 Americans died all bets were off and people in the media started thinking Peabody for investigative reporting. I worked in the
R-TV-Film office at UGA's journalism school and we took in all the entries each year for the Peabody program. Sometimes you just let personal desire over come your liberal brain and do the right thing! I too am happy it is coming out at this time. When people die in such a public venue it is time to "fess up!"
