The National Night Out Committee took a field trip to Thrasher Park as part of the event planning.  Veteran event planners Cindy Flynn of Splash Festivals Inc. (Norcross Art Fest) and Tixie Fowler of The City of Norcross were on hand to lend their expertise to committee.  From pointers on how to setup the sponsors/exhibitors to laying out the entrance to the park, this duo took the committee through the paces.

Excitement was definitely in the air for the committee members that are working on various areas of the event.  They are making sure every task is accounted for, from our Volunteer Ambassadors to the Kids Activities and the family fun in store for the community.
