Vintage Fords, Chevys and Oldsmobiles revved up their engines and hung out in downtown Norcross for the car show Saturday.

Celebrating its 15th year, the Norcross Car Show drew in thousands of people to see a display of 308 cars and motorcycles, dating as early as the 1900s. Hot dogs and hamburgers were for sale, in addition to baked goods, t-shirts, silent auction items, and raffle tickets for a $1,700 Primo grill and a completely finished 350 Chevrolet motor. 

While the event is fun for all ages, the car show is for a good cause, too: All funds go to the Kristi Memorial Scholarship, which financially aids in medical scholarships for elligible college students. This year, 13 scholarships were awarded from the $18,200 that was raised.

The car show wouldn't be possible without the help of volunteers, organizers Dodger and Liz DeLeon, and the Norcross Car Show committee.
