The Gwinnett Online Campus in the Norcross area held its registration days last week where students could come in person to get acquainted with the school.

Two full days of orientation are planned where students will meet their teachers, learn how to access courses, navigate the learning management system, and participate in team-building activities. Along with their parents, students from grades six through 12 attended the registration days.

The charter school, which started last year as a high school under Gwinnett County Public Schools, just began enrolling middle schoolers this year, starting with 78 students at the sixth- through eighth-grade levels. The campus will have a total of 236 students for the 2012-2013 school year.
