Norcross Man Bitten in Party Brawl

Inside the Police Reports: The bite was so bad that the man needed stitches afterward.

A Norcross man reported to police that someone bit him so badly at a party that it required stitches.

According to the Norcross Police report, the 28-year-old was hosting the party on the evening of June 30 at his residence at Waverly Manor Townhomes. He told police that, in the early morning hours, one of his friends started arguing with some of the other guests.

The argument escalated into a physical altercation, so the host tried to step in to stop. During the scuffle, his left thumb ended up in the mouth of one of the men fighting, and he was bitten.

The man went to have it stitched at Gwinnett Medical Center in Duluth, which is where police interviewed him.

The victim said that he does not know the person who bit him and has never seen him before. No one with the victim at the hospital knew the suspect, either.

Inside Police Reports runs regularly every week. The information is based solely on police incident reports provided on request.
