Kudzu Art Zone is having its opening reception for a new exhibition and its annual benefit this Friday, Sept. 7.

Its new reception, "12x12 Xtravaganza" will open the way for its yearly silent auction that will benefit the art gallery. Featuring more than 70 pieces by 50 artists, the show will have affordable artwork starting at $60 a pop.

The work spans a number of art genres, from mixed media to photography to collages to clay. Fitting in with the exhibition name, all artwork is 12 inches by 12 inches.

The opening reception for "12x12 Xtravaganza" and the silent auction will begin Friday at 7 p.m. and end at 9 p.m. at Kudzu Art Zone, located at 116 Carlyle St. in downtown Norcross. Complimentary refreshments will be served, and music will be provided by the Mixed Genes.
