Date Set for State of the County Speech
BOC Chair Charlotte Nash will make the address at a Gwinnett Chamber meeting.
Recently elected as chairman of the board of commissioners for Gwinnett County, Charlotte Nash, will be officially sworn in on Monday, March 28.

Gwinnett Board Of Commissioners Chair Charlotte Nash will make the annual State Of The County speech on Feb. 15 as part of a Gwinnett Chamber Of Commerce program.
The event/speech will be at the Gwinnett Centerin Duluth, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
Nash was elected in 2011 to fill the unexpired term of former Chairman Charles Bannister, who resigned amid a grand-jury probe into questionable land deals. Nash therefore will be up for re-election in 2012. She has said that it is "too early" to make a formal announcement about her plans.
